Dr. Ramya Rathan is currently an Assistant Professor of Anatomy in the College of Medicine, at Gulf Medical University, Ajman. She obtained her master’s degree in Anatomy from Kasturba Medical College, India in the year 2009, and thereafter a Doctorate degree in Anatomy in the year 2015 from JSS University, India.
Prior to joining Gulf medical University, Dr. Ramya has worked in different medical schools In India and has a teaching experience of 5 years. She has several publications to her credit in various international and national indexed journals She also mentors undergraduate students in their research projects.
Her research Interests is mainly in the field of education and this has led her to pursue Joint Masters Program in Health Professions Education from Gulf Medical University in collaboration with FAIMER.
